What is Sea Glass?

They are broken pieces of old glass objects that over many years have been naturally weathered by ocean currents. Since childhood I've collected sea glass from our sandy shores here in Hawaii. These "gems of the sea" enchant me with their inherent beauty and mystery of origin.

It is now a diminished natural resource largely due to the introduction of plastic containers, recycling, and increased collecting. Fortunately over the years I've amassed a large and wonderful collection with many inspiring pieces!

As the ocean has transformed these once sharp and shiny shards into smooth and "frosty" treasures, I seek to transform each into a new one-of-a-kind expression of spirit and elegance imbued with the changing rhythms of the sea!
